This class is designed for the modern shooter who wishes to become highly proficient in safe weapon handling and the ability to use your weapon with the practical application of self-defense. This class will hone in on your fundamentals so that you can have a true understanding of how to get the results you want. There will be time and accuracy standards that will be met in this class. We do not lower the standard to meet a comfort level of the shooter, you must push yourself to meet the standard and we will give you the tools to accomplish that! Stop training to pass your qualification and start training for real life self-defense situations.

PREREQUISITE:

1.Must know and perform the 4 firearm safety rules.

2. Must have experience with the Low ready starting position

3. Optics/Sights must be zeroed before attending this class

Course Objectives

  • SafetySafety/Med Brief

  • Mindset

  • Maximizing efficiency on presentation drills from the Low ready, High Ready and Short stock positions

  • Acquiring sight picture

  • Precision marksmanship

  • Acceptable marksmanship

  • Emergency/ Tac reloads

  • Recoil management

  • Malfunction clearing

  • Creating distance

  • Off lining drills 

  • Use of cover

Class Details

Location: Perris, CA (Unless otherwise noted when selecting date)

Course Duration: 8am-4pm

Cost: $325 (Range Fees Included)

Required Equipment

  • Ammunition: 375 rounds

  • Carbine Equipped with Optic

  • Sling

  • 3 magazines

  • Single belt mounted mag pouch (PC/chest rigs are welcome)

  • Eye and ear protection (electronic recommended)

  • Appropriate range attire (no open toe shoes or low-cut shirts)

  • Hat

  • Lunch & water

  • Pen & paper
