Defensive Pistol

Defensive Pistol bridges the gap between range marksmanship and the realities of defending yourself. We work the draw from concealment, efficient presentations, and the problem-solving that defensive shooting demands.

This is a performance-based course. You will be pushed to apply the fundamentals faster and under more stress than a foundational class, with coaching to keep every rep clean.

Required Equipment

• Semi-auto pistol
• Concealment holster AIWB recommended — Kydex (no SERPA, leather, or nylon)
• 2 magazines
• The ability to carry a spare mag on body
• Eye and ear protection (electronic recommended)
• Appropriate range attire (no open-toe shoes or low-cut shirts)
• Hat
• Lunch & water
• Pen & paper
