Shot at Route 66 Range in the evening. Builds from white-light carbine work into shooting under night vision with an IR laser, covering presentation, reloading and recoil management in the dark.

Required Equipment

  • Ammo: 400 rounds
  • Carbine with optic (red dot recommended)
  • Weapon-mounted light (pressure pad to activate highly recommended)
  • Rifle-mounted IR laser
  • NVG device, single or dual, mounted on a helmet system
  • Sling
  • Handheld light
  • Mag carrier (belt mounted, plate carrier, or chest rig)
  • 3 magazines
  • Spare batteries for all lights
  • Headlamp (recommended)
  • Clear eye protection
  • Ear protection (electronic recommended)
  • Note-taking material
